My favorite parts to read were of his real-life accounts and Smith ended his book on a high note. His experience in Rwanda with the starving children was a game-changer for him – and it translated on paper easily to me. Why can’t we change the world? Why do we continue to be OK with the small Christian life? God is so much bigger than we could ever imagine.

An excellent read for anyone doubting Gods power in today's world. In our modern society we seem to think that the powerful God of the bible was limited to that time in history. This book reminds the reader the God is just as powerful today as he was then! Not only does Jerod Smith remind you, but he backs this with biblical facts and twenty-first century examples.
This is a must read book. Jerod reminds us that God is bigger than anything we can imagine. I really liked the chapters on sickness and healing. It reminds us that no matter what doctors say God is bigger than our sickness and he has the final say. Great book. Very well written.
An excellent resource for the new believer and a good reminder for the more mature believers. Pastor Jerod reminds us of things that we sometimes in our busy lives overlook, stray away from, or just forget. Jerod writes "In the midst of every problem that comes against you, let your first thoughts be that God is bigger than anything you'll ever face."
"BIG" has eight chapters dealing with topics ranging from God is bigger than your past to God is bigger than your money, but when Jerod Smith gets to the chapters on pain and sickness he really hits his stride. His writing in these chapters especially is excellent and very passionate.
I look forward to future books by Jerod Smith and do highly recommend this one.
