My Review:I loved this book so, so much. The author wrote Jenny in a wonderful way. She's a red-head and has the temperament to match. She acts impulsively and easily gets her back up...with good reason. She's forever been the girl who the mean girls targeted and men took advantage of. From the wrong side of the tracks with a single mother, Jenny has had to fight for everything in her life, but the thing she fights for most is her 12 yo son. She is such a strong heroine, but has a vulnerable side to her that just made this book for me.
A couple of years ago, Jenny and Owen dated for a few months, but when her emotions began to grow, she sabotaged the relationship. Something that she's regretted ever since. But in the interim, nothing has changed about their chemistry, although Owen has come into his own since then. Determined to become a better man he has undergone a transformation. He was always a brilliant, powerful man, but now he owns that and is more confident in that.
There's a lot about family in this book. Neither Owen or Jenny come from the best family situations and that has definitely affected who they are as adults. I loved all those little details that ran throughout the story and how that played into who they were together. I also loved the addition of 12 yo Cooper. He is such a smart kid. He's a great addition to the story and is such a good balance to his mother. I loved him and especially loved his relationship with Owen.
Everything about this story worked...from the mean girls at the class reunion and how that all played out with Dina (not sure I got her name right) and Jenny. To the wedding that Jenny and Owen attend to back in West Virginia and the whole family story line for Owen. I thoroughly LOVED this book. I'm listing it as one of my favorites for 2017...at least so far. I totally fell in love with this story and the couple it features. The road to love certainly wasn't easy for either Owen or Jenny, but I could believe in the hope of their future, because it was obvious from the very beginning that they were meant to be...they just had to sort it all out.
I received a complimentary copy of this book in return for an honest review, but got online when I was only about 25% into the story to order a print copy because I could already tell this was a book I wanted on my keeper shelf for a later reread.

Meant for You is a beautiful story of second chance and new beginnings that kept me hooked until the very last page. The plot is nothing new, but the characters were engaging and likeable, I definitely rooted for them.
Jenny Castelli is a single mother, with a teenager son. She is a strong heroine, from the wrong side of the tracks, and has had to fight for almost everything in her life. She was betrayed by her son’s father and doesn’t trust easily. She has a red hot temper and is impulsive to the point that sometimes she blurts things out without thinking.
She had a short-lived but unforgettable relationship with Owen Dalton. Her insecurities got the best of her and she sabotaged their burgeoning relationship. Fast forward several years, she needs Owen’s help to play the part of her fiancé. Owen has made a name for himself as a technology industry visionary with a Midas touch. He is a powerful and extremely wealthy businessman. He values emotional intelligence in his business life, but refuses to let his feelings rule his private life anymore. He is afraid Jenny will hurt him again, and yet accepts to become her knight in shining armor. He can’t deny Jenny, his defenses are falling away the more time he spends with her. But he is afraid he wants more from her than she is willing to give. Returning to his hometown sent him reeling back in his troubled past. He never fitted in his own family and often felt like a second class citizen. I loved this character, he is very successful in his business life, but embraces his vulnerabilities in his private life, and it takes courage.
Overall, Jenny and Owen are wonderful characters, totally flawed and so likeable! They both need time to allow themselves to trust again, but their feelings are real. I highly recommend this heartfelt story of true love and second chance. Michelle Major was a new-to-me author, but I’m definitely a fan now.

I loved this story and was rooting for Jenny and Owen from the beginning. It was great to visit characters from previous book in the series and I had all kind of butterflies as Jenny and Owen found love again. Jenny Castelli is a single mom trying to juggle everything in her hectic life. She has a run-in with the mean girls she went to high school with that becomes inescapable. I've been in her same position--like you just want the mean girls to shut up and then you catch yourself saying crazy things--in this case, Jenny, makes an outlandish claim about bringing her new fiancé to their ten-year reunion. The trouble is she doesn't have a boyfriend, let alone a fiancé. The guy she enlists to help her is tech mogul Owen Dalton, and it just so happens that Jenny once broke his heart. Owen has no reason to help her but can't resist the girl he's always had a crush on, which opens the door for a second chance at love for both of them.
Meant For You is my first book by Michelle Major, but won't be my last. This is a fairly quick read, a perfect choice for romance fans with limited time for reading. Ms Major has put a well-written book in our hands. Her characters in this book are perfect for the story, I especially loved Cooper. Jenny and Owen's story is loaded with drama, humor and spice. A plus on the dialog. Everything in this book is in sync and works perfectly together. I totally enjoyed reading Meant For You and look forward to reading more of this new (to me) author in the future.
